About Me

Ed’s first home in Gainesville was in a room on the 5th floor of the Dixie Hunt Hotel in 1979 before marrying his lovely wife Karon. Since then they have lived in Gainesville, Salisbury, NC, Abingdon, Va, Tullahoma, TN and back home to Gainesville!

Ed first licensed in real estate in 1984 but job changes didn’t allow him much time in real estate until first joining the Norton Commercial Group in 2000. Markets and opportunities pulled them into other projects for a few years and in 2015 once again Ed joined back with the Norton Agency now in the Mountain Properties group out of Habersham County.

With vast experience in the poultry industry, industrial projects across the Southeast, and over the past 7 years working in the medical field with a variety of practices, Ed had about as broad a base in business – including holding an MBA from Georgia State University – as you can find. He understands business and what people need – whether it is a major expansion or new medical office.
